Fun & Fancy Drinks

As the weather warms up, we can finally head outside & enjoy the sunshine! What better way to do that than with a drink in hand. Here are a few of our favorites to share when entertaining!

Iced Tea

iced tea.png

Always a crowd pleaser & so refreshing

Regular tea bags
Baking soda
Boiling water
Cold water

Add boiling water & baking soda to a heat-proof pitcher. The baking soda neutralizes the tannins in the tea, giving it a smoother taste. Add hot water & let it steep for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags & add the sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and then add your cold water. Serve over ice.

Sweet & fruity, perfect for drinking outdoors.

Fruit (any, apples, oranges, berries)
Orange juice
Brown sugar, honey or agave
Brandy or rum
Red wine (some people use white wine as an alternative)

Add your fruit & orange juice to a pitcher. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Serve as is for a virgin drink or add your liquor & wine before serving. Taste, and then add your sweetener as needed. Serve over ice.

Lemon Mint Mojito

Perfectly refreshing.

White sugar
Fresh mint
Lemon, thinly sliced
Fresh lemon juice
Spike it: Rum
Crushed ice
Soda water

Muddle your sugar & mint in a glass or pitcher. Add your lemon slices & ice. Pour over your lemon juice, rum & soda water to serve.

Lemon Thyme Refresher
