Halloween Swipe Cupcakes

It’s that time of year again & things are starting to get spooky! Will this be a trick or treat? Well, we’re all about dessert, so of course a treat!

This year SoBakeable is making it super easy for you to add desserts to your Halloween celebrations. Pops of black & purple will make them the perfect addition to your Halloween tables.

If you’re a SoBakeable subscriber, check your mail! Because this baking kit will be included in your box this month.

The Cupcakes

You’ll make a batch of 10 light & fluffy spiced cupcakes. The warmth of spiced flavors (think cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger) are the ultimate taste & smell as we begin to celebrate Fall. Not only will these cupcakes taste the part, but they’ll also look the part too. You’ll get both purple & black cupcake liners to make these the perfect Halloween treat.

Once these are cooled, we’ll get to the frosting.

As our cupcakes cool, it’s time to have some fun in the kitchen & let your inner artist out. You’ll create a bunch of purple & black swipes that are going to be placed on top of your frosted cupcakes. This is a fun activity to do with the family as you get ready to celebrate Halloween together.

You’ll whip up a batch of cream cheese flavored frosting & smother a layer over each cupcake. These aren’t too spooky just yet!

Add your sprinkles & your swipes for decoration. These are ready to serve…

If you’d like to take it a step further, add your own spooky Halloween decorations, like us! There will be no mistaking what occasion these cupcakes are for. We’ve added plastic spiders & Halloween confetti to our table.

Let us know how you decorate your cupcakes to add that extra Halloween spirit! Share your pictures with us on Instagram & tag us with @SoBakeable.
